(view optimised with screen definition 1024x768)
The Casaccia Research Centre is connected with Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) International
Airport by an integrated transport system consisting of Enea buses and Public Transport Network.
There are two ways basically to reach te airport:
From Termini Railway Station
From Cesano Railway Station (FM3 Metro Line)
Both stations are connected with Casaccioa R.C. through the ENEA Shuttles.
From Termini Railway Station
A No-Stop connection is available by the Leonardo Express Train. Departures are scheduled from Termini
Railway Station every 30 minutes, at .21 and .51 of each hour. Trains leave from track 24 (former
Ferrovie Laziali about 350 metres far from the platform entrance). The ticket costs 8.80 Euros,
first class only. The Leonardo Express Train takes about 32 minutes to reach the airport. From the
airport Railway Station the trains leave at .07 and .37 of each hour.

From Cesano Railway Station
Leaving from the Cesano Railway Station, by the FM3 Metro Line Railway,
passengers can reach the Trastevere Railway Station. Here the FM1 Metro Line Railway serves as
connection to the airport, with departures at 09, 24, 39, 54 minutes each hour as shown in the figure
below.
The one way ticket costs 9000 liras (4.70 Euros, from Rome to the Airport or vice versa). As April 1st, 2002 the BIRG ticket
is no longer valid for Fiumicino Airport.
